Despite many steps by the state government to resolve the ongoing strike of Telangana JAC , the general strike continued and entered the 17th day today, while as part of the strike, the Telangana activists laid a siege to the Telangana public representatives demanding resignations in support of separate statehood in Telangana region.
A large number of pro-Telangana activists, including TRS workers, gathered in front of Uppal MLA B Rajireddy residence but they were prevented by the police when they were trying to attack his house at Uppal in Ranga Reddy district while, Qutubullahpur MLA K Srisailam Goud also faced similar ire from the Telangana activists in the district.
